Cut out all sugar
It’s only a week so don’t stress out. There are many foods out there that contain sugar. The following is a group of foods and drinks you should avoid:
- Fruit Juices
- Chocolates and other candies
- Sugar cereals
- Ice Cream
Cut those out for the next 7 days and you’ll notice a difference.
While you’re at it, lower fats and carbs as well
Since you’ve already decided to see what you’re capable of in 7 days, here are more foods in the fats and carbs category you should avoid for the next 7 days:
- Fast food
- White bread
Start workout or exercising. Stay active every day!

- Lift weights at the gym. Leg press, bench press, pull ups, stairmaster.
- Jog for an hour
- Play a sport for at least an hour – soccer, football, volleyball, basketball… any sport with a ball that you have to chase after will do the trick.
The idea is to stay active for at least an hour every day WHILE cutting out the aforementioned foods.

- Hard boiled eggs
- Greek yogurt and oatmeal
- Ceasar salad or any other kind of salad. AVOID RANCH DRESSING
- Grilled chicken – not fried.
- Mediterranean tacos
- Tuna fish salad or sandwich

This is important! You MUST drink at least 6 glasses of water every day. It sounds easy to do, but people rarely do it. Now’s the time to start. You’ve dedicated 7 days to getting fit. This has to be a part of your regiment. Every day, 6 glasses of water.

Get enough sleep
